I began my career in education where I first qualified as a teacher before moving on to work as an Assistant Head in a special needs school for young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties. Since retraining I have worked as clinical manager at the Rock clinic, where I provide clinical support, training and supervision for fellow practitioners. I have extensive experience of counselling students in schools and at the University of Sussex and am currently working with colleagues to set up a new service for young people and families at the Rock. I have also enjoyed teaching students on the counselling course at the University of Brighton. I work with a wide variety of issues and concerns, including those around fertility, gender and sexuality and I offer an affirmative practice to LGBT clients. I work with adults, couples and young people from Monday to Friday at the Withdean practice and at the Rock Clinic.
