Dynamic Interpersonal Therapy

Dynamic Interpersonal Therapy is a 16 week therapy specifically developed to treat depression and anxiety. Relationship problems form the focus of the work with a belief that symptoms will be alleviated when interpersonal difficulties can be dealt with more effectively. The client and the therapist work collaboratively to identify a core unconscious interpersonal pattern which is then explored within the context of current relationships. This work brings an enhanced understanding of self and others which can be used to try out different ways of being in relationships.
